The rebuild, honestly.
I never thought I'd be the person who rebuilt her whole business in public, and I certainly never thought I'd be the person writing about it while she was doing it. I was much more comfortable with the version of me who arrived at a launch with everything pre-decided — the copy polished, the offer stack tidy, the certifications listed at the bottom of the sales page like a résumé in case anyone was checking. Someone was almost always checking. I made sure of it.
I collected a lot of those certifications. Human Design. Astrology. Enneagram. Reiki. Some others I'm probably forgetting on purpose. I told myself I was studying because I loved it — I do, I really do — but if I'm honest, I was studying because I believed anything less than expert wouldn't sell. Being an eldest daughter will do that to you. There is no room in that role to be halfway anything, and I carried that story straight into the way I built.
For six years, I ran the polished version. I pivoted, rebranded, rewrote the bio, tried the next thing, tried the next thing after that. Two of those years I spent trying to make one more sale — one more launch, one more offer, one more angle, one more version of the same voice in a slightly different sweater — the way you pat down all your pockets looking for keys that aren't actually there. It was exhausting in the specific way that only self-employment can be, where the boss you're disappointing is also you.
The kind of burned out where your body finally puts its foot down. And then, because you didn't listen the first time, puts its foot down again.
Sometime around February of 2026, freelance work steadied enough that I could stop panicking about the month-to-month. And for the first time in a long time, I had enough quiet to notice how tired I actually was. Not "I need a vacation" tired. The kind where you sit down at your desk on a Wednesday and realize you have been performing competence at yourself, in an empty room, for six years straight.
So this — the site, the Substack, the sessions, whatever this ends up being called — is what I'm building in the space that opened up. It doesn't have a tidy name yet, and I'm going to resist the urge to give it one before it's ready. I'm not the "burnout coach" or the "Human Design person" or the "one who left corporate." All of those are true enough on a Tuesday. None of them are the whole of it, and I am done shrinking myself to fit a bio line.
The through-line, if you need one: I help women who are pivoting — leaving something, starting something, protecting time for something long-deferred — figure out the money piece so that the leap stops being the thing that blocks the leap. We start with what I call Priori-threes: the three non-negotiables, for life and for business. Then we audit what's actually happening now, name what you want the next three to six months to look like, and start where the fire is burning strongest. Charts are optional tools. Threes aren't.
If you're here because someone sent you my Substack, hello. If you're here because you found the site late at night and needed a soft place to land for ten minutes, also hello. If you're here because you're thinking about working with me, I'd read the Session page next, and then reach out. I answer my own emails. I try to answer them like a human, not a funnel.
